Frequently Asked Questions

Whether you’re planning your first visit to Pierreville or you’re already a regular at our booth at the Drummondville market, we’ve gathered answers to the questions we get most often.

  • Do I need to call before coming to the farm to buy products or pick up an order?

No, but it’s always a good idea to reach out. Since our products are harvested fresh every day, some items can sell out quickly, especially on market days. We encourage you to confirm availability or reserve your products before making the trip.

  • Do you have a farm stand, and what are your hours?

We don’t have a fixed storefront with regular opening hours. While we’re on site every day during the season, we’re often out working in the fields. If no one is at the entrance when you arrive, just let us know you’re there—we’ll come meet you shortly.

  • Where can I find you at the Drummondville public market?

Our outdoor booth is located right at the corner of the market on the St‑Jean Street side, facing Saint‑Joseph School.

  • Are your products organic?

We’re not certified organic, but we farm responsibly. We favour mechanical and manual weeding instead of herbicides. We only turn to non‑organic treatments as a last resort, and even then we choose low‑impact options such as potassium bicarbonate, hydrogen peroxide, or canola oil.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

At the public market, we accept cash, debit, and credit cards. At the farm, these payment methods are usually available as well, but since technology doesn’t always cooperate out in the fields, we recommend bringing cash just in case.

  • How do you choose your fruit and vegetable varieties?

For us, flavour comes first. We choose varieties for their exceptional taste, even if that means they sometimes look a little less uniform than the standardized produce you might find elsewhere.

  • When does your season start and end?

Our season typically runs from May (when we sell garden seedlings) until the end of October (when we harvest winter vegetables like squash and potatoes).

  • Can I bring my dog to the farm?

Dogs are welcome as long as they stay on leash and remain in the parking area. For food‑safety reasons and out of respect for all visitors, dogs aren’t allowed in the fields. Service dogs are the exception.

  • Can I buy your products outside the growing season?

Our offerings follow the rhythm of nature: we mainly sell what we harvest between May and October. However, our storage potatoes and our processed products are available year‑round while supplies last.

If you don’t find what you’re looking for, send us a message. We’ll be happy to help.
